Family Counseling

Confidential Family Counseling is:

• family-centered
• reality-based
• goal-oriented
• offered with the basic premise of preventing family disruption or placement of a child outside the home if possible

After a free assessment conference, if it is decided that UMCH can help the individual or family, then a session is arranged. Sessions are offered at a time convenient to the client and in a mutually agreed-upon location. A sliding fee scale related to the client’s ability to pay is used, and payment is expected at the conclusion of each session unless other arrangements have been made.
