Children’s Home Champions

Each month our Champions respond to a different specific need and are the first to know about volunteer opportunities and one-time needs as they arise. They are also advocates for us in their churches and communities. Champions include individuals, entire churches, UMM and UMW groups, Sunday School classes, community and civic groups – anyone who wants to help children and families in a meaningful way!

Many children and families arrive at the Children’s Home with just the clothes on their backs and no personal belongings. UMCH provides clothing, school supplies, therapeutic care, and other basic necessities. Our Champions enable us to go above and beyond the level of care and quality of goods we can offer to the children, not only increasing their quality of living, but also showing them that someone cares enough to provide the very best for them.
