The Children’s Home offers many different events throughout the year.  In addition to our popular flea markets and annual Fam-Fest, we also offer a variety of ongoing events.

 

Ongoing Events

Parenting classes begin Aug. 6 on our Decatur campus.Become a foster parent: informational meeting

When: First Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Where: The Children’s Home Decatur campus.

The Children’s Home hosts a monthly informational meeting about becoming a foster parent.

IMPACT foster parent training

When: IMPACT training is required to be a foster parent in Georgia. The informational meeting (see above event) is a required prerequisite.

Flea Markets

10382088_10152624955497224_2281962489431013792_oThe Children’s Home holds a flea market three times a year to benefit our work to help children and families in need. Each two-day event draws in thousands of people from local and nearby communities and even neighboring states.

 

When:  The next Flea Market is Oct. 14-15, 2016

Fam Fest

Fam Fest is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of fellowship and fun for a good cause. All proceeds from Fam Fest will support The Children’s Home efforts to restore children and families from trauma through Jesus Christ.
Your ticket includes all-day admission to Six Flags attractions; and free lunch buffet, ice cream bar, and Coca Cola beverage station.
