New Georgia law creates major reforms for child welfare

On May 5, Governor Nathan Deal signed into law the Child Welfare Reform Bill (SB 138). The bill, based off of recommendations from the Child Welfare Reform Council, provides a framework to strengthen and improve Georgia’s child welfare system for children and those that work to protect them.
