1.) Family Integration Counselor – Part-Time
The Family Integration Counselor (FIC) is responsible for the implementation and supervision of daily living routines of all residents within the Nurturing Connections Second Chance Program. The FIC will ensure that the NCSCP environment is one that is safe, therapeutic, and promotes goal achievement for all residents within the program. This is a part-time weekend position. 2.) Community Integration Counselor
The Community Integration Counselor (CIC) is responsible for the implementation of a daily living routine in a manner that allows the goals which have been set for each resident and the group as a whole to be met in a safe, therapeutic living environment in the Independent Living Program (ILP). 4.) Communications Director
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Communications Director will help set the direction and guide the strategy for all internal and external communications to consistently articulate, enable and fulfill the United Methodist Children’s Home’s (UMCH) mission. Key responsibilities include working with executive leaders on the internal/external communication strategy; assisting with organizational rebranding; and developing and implementing results-driven marketing and communications campaigns that align with overall UMCH organizational goals and objectives. 5.) Chief Development Officer (Fundraising and Marketing)
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) will be a strategic, results-driven, creative, innovative thinker and servant-leader. Key responsibilities include leadership, strategic planning and oversight of results-driven UMCH fundraising, marketing and communications strategies, as well as volunteer recruitment and management. This individual will be an ambassador for the organization and will work to build strong relationships with volunteers, donors, partners, the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders and constituents.
The CDO will also partner with the CEO to provide leadership and develop all UMCH fundraising strategy leadership for UMCH; recruit, direct and manage a fundraising staff and volunteers to engage, solicit and close donors and partners through various fundraising campaign activities. In addition, the CDO will personally travel in the field approximately two days per week to cultivate, solicit and close gifts from current and prospective donors, with an emphasis on soliciting major gifts.
