The United Methodist Children’s Home is pleased to announce we earned a renewal of our EAGLE accreditation! Only 10% of the United Methodist Health and Welfare institutions nationwide have achieved this distinction.
EAGLE (Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence) accreditation is offered through the United Methodist Association and is designed for faith-based organizations like UMCH to enhance the quality of services we provide and affirm our relationship with the Church.
The road to being awarded accreditation is a long one, consisting of an application process, a 6- to 12-month curriculum, a site visit, and finally, approval from the EAGLE Accreditation Commission.
What does EAGLE accreditation mean for UMCH?

Having again received our one-year accreditation, The United Methodist Children’s Home will be recognized at the Annual Conference of the United Methodist Association, March 24 through March 26, 2014, in Orlando, Fl.
